About Sastho Setu
Sastho Setu is a healthcare technology company in Dhaka. We deliver prescription medicine to your door, and our team checks every order against your prescription before anything is dispatched.
That single sentence is what we do today. Everything else on this page is context.
Why we built this
In Bangladesh, getting the right medicine is harder than it should be. Prescriptions are handwritten and often difficult to read. Brand names look alike. A person collecting medicine for an elderly parent frequently has no way to confirm that what is in the bag matches what the doctor wrote. Most people find out something was wrong only when the treatment does not work.
Ordering medicine online was supposed to fix this. Mostly it moved the same problem onto a phone screen, with a discount attached.
We started from a different question: not how to make medicine cheaper, but how to make sure the right medicine arrives. That is why every Sastho Setu order passes through a human check before it ships, and why nothing dispatches on an unverified read.
How an order works
- 1. Scan your prescription. Photograph or upload it in the Sastho Setu app. Every medicine line is read and checked against the national medicine register.
- 2. Our team reviews it. Dosage, strength, pack size and the prescription itself are checked before your order is sourced. If something does not match, we call you. Nothing ships on an unverified read.
- 3. A Sastho Setu rider delivers it. Our own riders, in our own app, with live tracking — not a third-party courier who has never heard of your order.
Medicine is sold at the Maximum Retail Price set under DGDA guidelines. We do not charge above it, and neither can anyone else.
Who we are
Raqib Khan, Founder
Raqib Khan spent twenty years inside the systems he now builds. More than a decade at dnata, part of the Emirates Group, across travel consulting, e-commerce, resource planning and retail operations. Four years running Smartrav, his own travel business in Dhaka. Then, from 2020 to 2024 at Giift in Dubai, enterprise customer success for fourteen banking and travel clients across the Gulf and Asia.
The same problem ran through all of it. The booking system, the loyalty engine and the payment layer had never been designed to talk to each other, and somebody held them together by hand.
Getting medicine to a patient in Bangladesh has the same shape. A prescription, a pharmacy, a patient and a delivery — four things that were never built to connect, joined up by whoever happens to be standing there. He founded Axelogix Capital in 2024 to build those joins properly, and Sastho Setu is where getting them wrong costs the most.
He built his career in Dubai and is based in Dhaka.

Sastho Setu is built and maintained by Axelogix Capital Company, an enterprise software development company.
That matters for a practical reason. Sastho Setu is not a prototype built to raise money. The platform — the patient app, the clinical workspace, the rider dispatch system, the internal operations layer — was built inside an operating software business and is maintained there. When something breaks at eleven at night, the people who wrote it are the people who fix it.
Where we operate
Sastho Setu delivers in Dhanmondi and Kalabagan, Dhaka.
We are deliberately serving one area properly before adding another. A delivery promise you can keep in one neighbourhood is worth more than a map of the whole country you cannot serve. If you are outside our area, you can join the waitlist and we will tell you when we reach you.

Sastho Setu is designed as one connected platform rather than a single app. Alongside the patient service, we operate:
- DocOS — a clinical workspace for doctors: appointments, consultations and digital prescribing
- RiderOS — dispatch, navigation and earnings for our delivery riders
In development: direct pharmacy partnerships, and connected workspaces for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and suppliers.
We list these as roadmap, not as capability. What is live today is prescription-verified medicine delivery, and that is what we ask you to judge us on.
